The archipelago of the Azores is located in the middle of the Atlantic ocean and is composed of 9 islands, divided into three geographic groups. The smallest island is Corvo, and has 430 inhabitants. The answer is between 4,000 and 5,000! The Komodo dragon lives only in the Indonesian islands of Komodo (dah!), Rinca, Flores, Gili Motang and Gili Dasami and only around 350 breeding females are estimated to exist at the moment!
